Description
The Lost Pearl contains Sufi, mystical, romantic and epic poems. The poems of this collection are mostly written in Indian and Khorasani style. However, this book also includes ‘White Poetry’ or ‘Sepid poetry’ associated with Modern Persian poetry. The commentary of this book was written by Dr. Asadullah Shoor- a literary scholar, poet, and talented writer from the Afghan community- who has more than eight literary works. This collection consists of 253 pages and includes more than 90 poems. Moreover, the first edition includes the colourful couplets of “Waheb” which has been calligraphed inspired by the Islamic design’s practice of forms and colours.
